Did God defectively design us?

Saw this question on an Amazon discussion, believe it or not. Also saw this answer and liked it.

Your question, "Did God defectively design us?"

God had some options:

1. No world at all.
2. A world with no good or evil- An amoral world.
3. A world where people would only chose good - a robotic world.
4. Or a world likes ours where there is a possibility to choose good or evil.

No Mr. Weimer God gave us the opportunity to be like Him. Character isn't created by fiat, it's a process.
